Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA (server location Frankfurt am Main, Germany). Each page request processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (e.g. protection against attacks). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a data processing agreement with Vercel; transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Vercel deletes log data after a short time.
No cookies, no tracking
We do not use cookies or any analytics, advertising or social media services. Fonts and images are served from our own server; visiting the website does not send data to Google or other providers.
Calendar, prices and booking
We read available dates and prices from our channel manager Smoobu (Smoobu GmbH, Berlin). No data about you is sent to Smoobu. Bookings are not made on this website but on Airbnb or Booking.com. Only when you click “Book” do you leave our website; the privacy policy of the respective platform then applies. The same goes for links to WhatsApp or map services.
Contact form and email
When you write to us via the form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, optionally phone number, travel dates, number of guests and your message) to answer your request and, where applicable, prepare a booking. We store the request in our own guest and booking management (MongoDB Atlas database, data centre in Frankfurt am Main) and are notified by email via our provider STRATO GmbH, Berlin. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual request), otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering questions). We delete the data when it is no longer needed – at the latest after [3] years without further contact, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Bookings and invoices
When you book via Airbnb, Booking.com or directly with us, we receive your name, travel dates, number of guests, price and – where provided by the platform – phone number, email address and language via Smoobu. After booking, we may send you a personal link where you can voluntarily enter billing details (name, company, address, optionally VAT ID and phone, email for the invoice). We use this data to handle the booking, communicate with you and create and send the invoice. Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations under German tax law). Invoices and booking records are kept for 8 years; links to the billing form expire 60 days after departure.
Recipients
We use the following service providers under data processing agreements: Vercel Inc. (hosting), MongoDB Inc. (database, Frankfurt am Main), STRATO GmbH (email), Smoobu GmbH (channel manager). Where required by law, billing data is passed on to our tax advisor and the tax authorities.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Just write to us at kevin@fewo-nikolovski.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.

Invoices via WhatsApp
If you choose delivery via WhatsApp in the billing form, we send you the invoice via WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland; a Meta company) to the number you provided – either directly as a PDF via the WhatsApp Business Platform or as a message with a personal download link that expires after 60 days. WhatsApp processes your phone number, the message and, where applicable, the invoice; data may be transferred to Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (delivering the invoice the way you chose). You can always choose delivery by email instead.
